MSE Meili will deliver 2 ‘Labasys® Control Ex ‘Bulk-Flow' measuring systems for Phase II of Zhoushan Green Petrochemical Base Project / China

Zhoushan Green Petrochemical Base Project is a new integrated refinery and petrochemical project being developed in Zhoushan Island, Zhejiang province, China. It is the first private capital-controlled petrochemical project in China and is set to become the world’s biggest crude-to-chemicals complex.

The project is expected to start operations in 2021.
Processing capacity:  40Mtpa
Ownership: Zhejiang Petroleum and Chemical (ZPC) and Saudi Aramco

Zhejiang Petroleum and Chemical, a limited partnership company between Rongsheng Petrochemicals, Juhua Group, Zhejiang Tongkun Holding Group, and Zhoushan Marine Compre-hensive Development Investment, is developing the project.

ZPC has selected Lyondell Basell’s world-leading polypropylene (PP), high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and low-density polyethylene (LDPE) technologies for five new plants.

LyondellBasell’s Spherizone process is one of the newest and most advanced PP-technologies. Unlike other PP process technologies it also allows for the production of entirely new families of propylene-based polymers using its unique multi-zone circulating reactor system.

MSE Meili's ‘Labasys® Control Ex ‘Bulk-Flow' measuring systems will be used to measure in-line the recirculation rate of the polymer material in the Spherizone multi-zone circulating reactors (MZCR).
