MSE Meili supplies measuring system for megaproject in Malaysia

Malaysias largest project in the petrochemical sector, the Refinery and Petrochemical Integrated Development Project (abbr. RAPID) in Pengerang is going forward.
RAPID is the core of the overall Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) and consists i.a. of a petroleum refinery with a throughput of about 300’000 barrels per day. RAPID is a project of the state oil and gas company Petronas.
The order for procurement and construction of a polypropylene plant with a yearly capacity of 400’000 t went end of 2016 to a consortium leaded by the Italian Tecnimont and the China Huanqiu Contracting and Engineering.
MSE Meili hereby has been awarded the contract to deliver the Measuring System LABASYS^® CONTROL Ex ‘Bulk-Flow' for in-line determination of the polymer bulk velocity in LyondellBasell's 'Spherizone' polypropylene process. (rem)
