SHCCIG Yulin Chemical Co., Ltd., Shaanxi Province, China

SHCCIG Yulin Chemical Co., Ltd. (a member of Shaanxi Coal and Chemical Industry Group) is a major energy and chemical enterprise based in Yulin, Shaanxi, China. It specializes in massive coal-to-chemical projects, including ethylene glycol, methanol, and advanced polypropylene production using technologies from e.g. LyondellBasell. 

The China Coal Yulin Coal Deep Processing Base Project is a massive coal-to-chemical facility in Shaanxi, China, with a second-phase investment of roughly 23.9 to 62 billion yuan. For that project SHCCIG Yulin Chemical Co., Ltd. licenses four key technologies from LyondellBasell (LYB), the world’s largest licensor of polyolefin technologies. The comprehensive technology package includes among others Spherizone and Spheripol  technologies for two polypropylene plants.

Hualu Engineering & Technology Co., Ltd. is responsible for purchasing the project equipment and material.

MSE Meili AG has been awarded the contract to deliver ‘Labasys^® Control Ex ‘Bulk-Flow' measuring systems to measure in-line the recirculation rate of the polymer material in the Spherizone multi-zone circulating reactor (MZCR).

LyondellBasell’s Spherizone process is one of the newest and most advanced PP-technologies. Unlike other PP process technologies it also allows for the production of entirely new families of propylene-based polymers using its unique multi-zone circulating reactor system.
